Setting up the microphone

Following on from Open Baffle Lift Off, yesterday I completed my first preliminary DEQX run on the open baffle experimental speaker fitted with the SEAS 8″ Excel and the Hawthorne Audio AMT-700 tweeter.

In order to emulate an anechoic chamber, I am using the great out doors – my front driveway. Just the thing for running sound tests and annoying the neighbours.

These initial results where very pleasing and I am ready to move to the next phase.
